If we are Christians, we should be advocates for the weak, the disabled, and the elderly, just as Jesus was.
If we were able to carry the weight of this world entirely on our own, there never would have been the need of a Savior. There would not have been a reason to send a sovereign God down to earth as a tiny, vulnerable baby to grow up and die on a barren wooden cross.
